Our candles are made from high-quality soy wax and burn exceptionally cleanly and evenly. They have a burn time of approximately 70 hours . To ensure the delicate fragrance oils develop optimally and your candle stays beautiful for a long time, it should be lit until the entire surface is melted when first lit – this prevents tunneling.

Give your candle a little love: Regularly trim the wick to about 5 mm so the flame burns steadily and no soot is produced. Make sure to place it on a heat-resistant surface and never leave it burning unattended – this way you'll enjoy your candle guy candle for the longest time.

I'm constantly asked how I came up with the idea. It's a very simple story: I saw a scented candle in my apartment and thought, "Why can't the candle be like me?" Sexy, a bit eco-friendly, yet smelling amazing, and always having a funny, usually inappropriate, saying on my lips? That's how Candle Guy was born!

Our candles are made from 100% soy wax, making them particularly eco-friendly and vegan. Only candles made from 100% soy wax (no blends) burn exceptionally long and evenly. And only soy wax can absorb the maximum amount of fragrance oils to create an intense and long-lasting scent experience. 

We use 100% soy wax and only natural ingredients and essential oils. Our candles contain the maximum amount of fragrance oil: 10%. This allows them to burn for up to 70 hours and provide an intense fragrance from start to finish. To ensure the highest possible quality, our candles are also hand-poured. 

Cheaper candles are often made with wax blends or poured with very inexpensive waxes such as paraffin wax (a waste product of the petroleum industry). Furthermore, inexpensive candles typically contain synthetic fragrances. They are also usually produced by machine, not by hand.

Our candles are a bit more expensive - but in return you get an excellent scented candle with an extremely long burning time.

Our 200ml candles burn for up to 70 hours. It's important that you follow our candle care instructions.

The candle will only burn for as long as necessary if the wick is trimmed sufficiently and the maximum burning time is observed. The correct location for the candle is also important to achieve the longest possible burning time.

CANDLE CARE INSTRUCTIONS

 

We only use soy wax and fragrance oils. That's it.

Our candles do not contain any other additives such as dyes, synthetic fragrances or other additives. 

We produce all our candles ourselves in Germany and the USA. Each fragrance recipe is individually blended by us, and the candles are hand-poured. To ensure the highest possible quality and care, we rely on meticulous handcrafting in every step of the process. 

There is no specific timeframe for using your candle. However, we recommend using it within one year. Otherwise, the fragrance intensity may be affected.

Important information about our soy wax candles with sayings

Please note that candles should never be left burning unattended and must always be kept away from flammable materials. Place the candle only on heat-resistant surfaces and ensure it is out of reach of children and pets. Extinguish the flame carefully without blowing on it to avoid sparks. Trim the wick regularly to 1 cm to minimize soot buildup. Use the candle only as intended to avoid any risks.

Allergy advice

This candle contains fragrances that may cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. People with known fragrance allergies or sensitive skin should avoid direct contact with the released substances and perform a patch test before using the candle. If skin irritation, breathing difficulties, or other adverse reactions occur, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.

Note regarding the wax surface

Our candles are made from 100% pure soy wax – a natural material that reacts to temperature changes. This can occasionally result in visible shadows, slight color variations, or small air bubbles, especially since we deliberately use no additives and the transparent glass reveals every natural change.

These minor visual effects are not a defect, but rather a sign of genuine, unadulterated natural wax. The burning quality remains perfect at all times. Once the candle has burned for a few minutes, the surface becomes smooth and even again due to the heat.
